2019 Polls: Umuagu youths beckons on Elunor to represent Oshimili South state constituency

As the 2019 general elections draws nearer, the youths in Umuagu quarters in Oshimili South Local Government Area of Delta State have beckoned on Barrister Winifred Elunor to contest the State House of Assembly election to represent Oshimili South constituency.
This was made known yesterday in Asaba by the Chairman Umuagu Youth,Ogbueshi Emeka Ogbotobo while speaking to newsmen.
According to him, “Promoting and instilling a generational change in governance and leadership is vital for the upcoming elections in Delta state”.
Ogbueshi Ogbotobo stated that it was the turn of Umuagu, being the host community of Delta state government, which has never represented Oshimili South State constituency in the House of Assembly.
Continuing, “the youths in Umuagu in Oshimili South have beckoned on Barrister Winifred Elunor to contest for the Delta state house of Assembly”.
He described Barr. Elunor, as someone who possess the right qualities of a legislator and will best aggregate those defining factors of good governance, prompt and equitable delivery of dividends of democracy in Oshimili South and like Macron of France has the ideas that would transform Asaba and Delta state if given the chance.
He further said that the seasoned lawyer who has a passion for the less privileged runs a Non Governmental Organisation and a grassroot politician under the Peoples Democratic Party flagship, has the educational and political clout to aspire for any elective position.
Others who spoke included Onyeisi Okwulagwe, and Mr Chiedu Nwosa beckoned on Barrister Elunor while urging her to aspire for the position to represent Oshimili South in the House of Assembly.
