Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho has consistently declared that there will be no election in Yoruba land in 2023. He has again made the declaration today during the Oduduwa nation rally Akure, Osun State.
The rally was attended by over 2,000 Yorubas who troop out in different traditional attires, some with masquerades, and singing Yoruba song of solidarity.
While speaking to the mammoth crowd that troup out for the rally in Akure, Igboho said that there won’t be any election in any part of Yoruba land in 2023, adding that it’s time for Yoruba people to ask for their freedom.
According to him, the people of Yoruba land have suffered too much in this present government of President Muhammadu Buhari. He explained that there won’t be any true progress in Yoruba land except there’s secession.
Igboho called on traditional leaders in Yoruba land to join hands with other prominent Yoruba leaders to ask for the freedom of their people.
