Yoruba nation protest hit Cotonue, Ibadan and USA demanding release of Sunday Igboho

Some Yoruba nation protesters have stormed  Cotonou, Benin Republic, outside its Supreme Court where it is believed that the extradition hearing of Sunday  Igboho is scheduled to hold.

In the video shared by Koiki Media, the protesters were seen singing solidarity songs and demanding that Ighoho should be released with immediate effect.

They additionally demanded an independent nation of the Yoruba people. The protesters mentioned that they had confidence within the Benin Republic justice system that Igboho would get freedom.

The protesters debunked claims that Igboho had been freed, stressing that he’s still in police custody.

Also at the moment, protests are at present being held in Ibadan, and in the USA.
